Studio FraJas

Ceramic design collaboration between artist Francisco and Jasper. Their vases are geometric forms decorated with vibrant glaze patterns.

I developed the visual identity to position the studio within the contemporary design market, emphasizing craft and inventive design.

Logo "FRAJAS" in large, bold, black letters on a white background.

Branding

The logo was designed to resonate with the abstract shapes created by the studio. It consists of the first three letters of each artist’s names, stacked on top of one another. Initially made as a clay stamp, the logo was used as a “maker’s mark” on the studio’s ceramic pieces. One variation of the logo features the letter outlines, designed as an interactive element in the website header.

The brand’s color palette consists of dark terracotta and warm porcelain, referencing the clay bodies most commonly used by the studio.

This vocabulary is carried though presentations, catalogs and the website.

Web Design

The new website highlights a curated selection of vases, grouped by type and arranged in rows. The vases are professionally documented both individually and in group compositions. Each vase has its own dedicated page, where details of the form and surface are showcased. Group images are shown in the homepage. The final version is built on Squarespace with custom code and offers a responsive experience across devices.
